Sizing
- A built-in grill sits in the smallest grill cabinet larger than it. Grill cabinets come in 30, 36, 42, 48, 54 and 62 inches: 30" grill → 36" cabinet, 36" → 42", 42" → 48", 56" → 62".
- Grill sizes depend on the brand; not every brand makes every size.
- Cabinets sit side by side; a straight island's length is the sum of the cabinet widths. Typical islands are 8 to 15 feet.
Layouts
- Straight: one run of cabinets, against a wall or freestanding.
- Galley: two parallel runs facing each other, cooking on one side and prep or seating on the other.
- Corner L: two runs at 90 degrees joined by a corner cabinet; the countertop wraps the corner.
- Corner 45: three runs, the middle one on a 45-degree diagonal, usually holding the grill.
- U-Shape: a back run with a run on each side; drawn for the customer by our design team.
- Promenade (our signature layout): a Corner L with a separate parallel island with bar seating facing the cook; drawn by our design team.
Pricing
- Prices from the tools are MSRP for the cabinetry, grill and appliances, before countertop and installation. Final pricing is determined by a local dealer.
- Countertops are fabricated and installed locally, so they are not in the MSRP. Pricing results include the countertop area in square feet and the material; give the person a local installed-price range per square foot for that material, labeled as an estimate.
- Some grills are listed without an MSRP (
priceOnQuote); their price comes with the dealer quote. - Do not estimate CasaBella prices from general knowledge; use the tools, or point the person to the designer.
Privacy
Browsing grills, layouts and prices needs no personal information. A render or a quote needs the person's name and email (ZIP code optional, to find a local dealer); the server asks the person directly when the app supports it. Returning customers confirm a 6-digit code sent to their email before their saved design opens. See the privacy policy.
